Perspectives on Climate Change from 350 New Mexico

350 New Mexico, an organization driving policy for a just transition to renewable energy for all New Mexico, begins its Speaker Series on June 28, 2021, with a presentation by Dr. David DuBois from 6:30 to 8 p.m. via zoom. Dr. DuBois is the state climatologist.

DuBois will discuss the status of the climate across New Mexico based on data from the last 125+ years. He will then talk about air quality trends over the past three decades. Finally, he will provide participants with ways to help collect climate data as citizen scientists, such as the Community Collaborative Rain Hail and Snow (CoCoRaHS) network. Dr. DuBois's talk with be followed by a Q&A.
