The Chair of the Democratic Party of New Mexico (DPNM), has issued the official CALL to the DPNM 2026 State Pre-Primary Nominating Convention, to be held Saturday, March 7th, 2026. The purpose of the State Pre-Primary Convention is to accomplish the following:
- Nominate Democratic candidates whose names will appear on the NM Primary ballot in June.
- Vote on whether to adopt the new DPNM Platform presented by the State Platform Committee.
- Deliberate, debate, and vote on any DPNM Resolutions presented at the convention.
CALL to the VALENCIA COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY 2026 PRE-PRIMARY CONVENTION
Pursuant to the DPNM Chair’s official CALL to the DPNM State Pre-Primary Convention, I am now issuing the official CALL to the Valencia County 2026 Pre-Primary Convention.
- The purpose of this County Pre-Primary Convention is for Democrats registered in our county to elect 21 state-convention delegates who will represent the county and vote accordingly at the March 7th State Pre-Primary Convention.
The VALENCIA COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY 2026 County Pre-Primary Convention will be called to order at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Belen Public Library, 333 Becker Ave. Belen, NM.
All county residents who are registered Democrats in our county 30 days before the convention are eligible to run and vote at the convention.
