This year, DPVC is trading the traditional gala for something with a little more rhythm!
On Friday, October 23, from 7:00–9:00 PM, join us at the Los Lunas High School Auditorium for the Los Lunas Mariachi Concert Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary, an evening of incredible music, community, and celebration.
The concert will feature Mariachi Tenampa, one of New Mexico’s premier mariachi groups, along with Mariachi Amigos de Nuevo México and singer Rafael Trujillo, with additional performers still to be announced. Expect soaring trumpets, beautiful strings, powerful vocals, and a room filled with the unmistakable energy of New Mexico’s mariachi tradition.

This concert is serving as DPVC’s major fundraiser in place of our annual gala, which means you can support the Democratic Party of Valencia County while enjoying a fantastic night out.
Even better, this event gives us an opportunity to support young musicians right here in our community. Ticket sales and sponsorships will also benefit the Los Lunas High School Tiger Band, making this a fundraiser that invests in both civic engagement and the next generation of Valencia County musicians. The concert organizers have designated a portion of ticket proceeds to benefit local organizations, including the Tiger Band.

Instead of getting dressed up for another banquet, we get to spend this year together enjoying extraordinary music, supporting our local high school band, and raising the resources DPVC needs to continue organizing, reaching voters, supporting our candidates, and building a stronger Democratic presence throughout Valencia County.
