Bryan Olguin is the longtime Mayor of Peralta. He has vigorously opposed Niagara Bottling’s efforts to increase the amount of water they’re allowed by the Village of Los Lunas to process from an aquifer that supports much of Valencia County. Mayor Olguin explains why the interests of neighboring communities like Peralta, Bosque Farms, and Isleta need to be considered in crafting an approach to water policy that protects the entire community.
Rides to the Polls
The Democratic Party of Valencia County wants to ensure that folks can get to the polls. Because there is so much uncertainty about mail-in ballots this year, we are encouraging folks to vote early and vote in-person. We know that can be difficult for people to do and we want to help ensure that anyone that wants to vote can do so.
