On this Veterans Day, we pause to express our heartfelt gratitude to the brave men and women who have selflessly served in the defense of our nation. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment have shaped the very fabric of our freedom.
The Democratic Party of Valencia County extends our deepest appreciation to all veterans for their service and dedication. Today, we honor their contributions and recognize the profound impact they have made in preserving the values we hold dear. Thank you, veterans, for your service, and may we always remember the debt of gratitude we owe to those who have safeguarded our democracy.
Veterans Day Events
Los Lunas Veterans Day Event
The annual Veterans Day event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Daniel D. Fernandez Memorial Park, 1103 N.M. 314 SW in Los Lunas. This event honors all individuals who served in the military.
The program begins at 11 a.m. and concludes at about 1 p.m. Daniel D. Fernandez VFW Post 9676 Commander Chet Pino will be the guest speaker, and a special presentation will be given to the family of the late Gene Sais. There will be fellowship and refreshments at the end.
Veterans Day Exhibit
The Los Lunas Museum of Heritage and Arts presents a Veterans Day exhibit through Saturday, Nov. 11.
The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturdays.
Belen Veterans Day Ceremony
The City of Belen would like to invite you to the Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11th, 2023, at 2pm at the Veterans Memorial Eagle Park. Please join us in commemorating and honoring our Veterans. Wayne Gallegos will be the Master of Ceremony and lead the way through a thoughtfully assembled program that will include:
