For our first post about Women’s History Month, let’s let just four photos do the talking.

As Democrats, we have many things for which we can be very proud. The legacy that we have gifted to the country we love so much, to the young women who believe that there is no limit to what they can achieve, and the inspiration to all future generations of Americans as we finally look beyond binary gender roles and racial stereotypes is the example that these extraordinary women provide.
Our conviction is that the best way to represent the morals and ideals that America truly stands for is not by preaching what others should do or trying to look important, but by LIVING what we believe every day. It is by our deeds that we will be judged, not our fancy clothes and lofty oratory.
And let’s recognize the Presidents who chose so wisely when they saw that our brightest legal minds could only be found when we set aside our biases and decided to rise toward a brighter future of true equality so that justice may finally become, truly, for all.
Take a little time today and read about these women who are exemplars of American Jurisprudence.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg (1933-2020), Supreme Court Assoc. Justice 1993-2020 – Nominated by President Clinton
Sonia Sotomayor (b. 1954), Supreme Court Assoc. Justice 2009-present – Nominated by President Obama
Elena Kagan (b. 1960), Supreme Court Assoc. Justice 2010-present – Nominated by President Obama
Ketanji Brown Jackson (b. 1970), Supreme Court Nominee 2022-future – Nominated by President Biden
And, just because it brought tears to my eyes Tuesday night, here’s another historical milepost that we Democrats can be proud to have made happen!
